Recordist's notes
I am sitting on a bench surrounded by geese and ducks so close they are treading on the mics sometimes. In front of me is a large lake and in the background a half a mile away sits the dark mass of the Malvern Hills. A plane wanders up, probably from Staverton Airfield not too far away. It practices a few manoeuvers and suddenly makes a sharp turn changing the engine note. The geese continue to beg for my lunch. Recorded with a Sound Devices Mix Pre 6 II 32bit FP x 48K and 2 x Sennheiser MKH 8020s.
