Recordist's notes

A storm is forecast so I set up mics inside an upstairs room. A stereo pair faces south. One mic in another window faces east and another west. This produces an odd audio quality. 7am. Downstairs a kettle boils, thunder, rain, cars, heavy rain, thunder, garden rubbish collection truck arrives and leaves, the empty garden bin is rolled from the street on the right, around the house to the back garden on the left. This is the first substantial rain in over 3 months. MixPre 6 II with 2 Sennheiser MKH 8020s in a stereo pair and 2 single Rode NT5s. 32bit x 48khz.
