Recordist's notes

XY stereo recording of a calm dawn with puddle frogs (Phrynobatrachus latifrons), roosters, and subtle birds at a wetland in Fiapre, Bono Region, Ghana. Field recording introductions by CSEM and WISEA founder, Samuel Kudjodzi. Monitoring, Editing, and Mastering by Samuel Kudjodzi, CSEM and WISEA founder, Germany. This was the first field recording of Miss Nana Afia Afriyie as a new member of WISEA. Miss Nana Afia Afriyie is a BSc Biological Science graduate of UENR - University of Energy Natural Resources, Ghana. She is also a Scientific Resource Person on the CSEM and WISEA projects and researches and presents topics on Ecology. She presented on “Ramsar Sites in Ghana: Protecting Wetlands of International Importance” at the first CSEM and WISEA residency program on Sound and Ecology held in Koforidua, Eastern Region of Ghana. The acoustic and scientific data being gathered will be used to build sound installations on fragile ecosystems to educate, sensitise the public, and inform policies on them. The CSEM and WISEA projects are supported by Earth.fm, sound service gmbh, seriousmicrophones, lom.label, and donors. We also express sincere thanks to all organisations and individuals coming on board to help develop talents in Soundscape Ecology and Multimedia on the African continent.
