Recordist's notes
The shotgun microphone was placed close to the ground, facing towards the River Lea Navigation inside a blimp. The sound of aircraft, trains and traffic were particular dominant but also hidden beneath the city noises was the rustling and squeaking of straw. I tried to capture the effect of the wind by placing it closer to the ground and plants.
