Recordist's notes
The biggest storm in London for years was named 'St Jude' - the patron saint of lost causes. This was recorded from my back window. Most of the sound is wind blowing through two high sycamore trees - some intense gusts followed by a minute or three of relative quiet was the pattern. Planes were still flying over into Heathrow and magpies seemed untroubled.
