Recordist's notes

The early morning hum of Kampala resonates in the dome of the temple, the city market is buzzing in the streets all around, but here inside, the priest is following his routine of morning offerings and prayers… people are dropping in on the way to work, or to the market, walk around from altar to altar, praying, bringing food offerings, ringing a bell at each altar… A playlist of recordings from Kampala, “Emboozi ya Kampala”, also contains clips of an interview with the priest: http://www.archive.org/details/Emboozy_ya_Kampala Also remixed in a “road movie” at : http://youtu.be/7DGNPNNcvGM
