Recordist's notes
A recording of the JR SC Maglev test train from one of the viewing points in Fuefuki. At 0:30 you hear the train appear from the tunnel next to the viewing point and move away down the track. At around 3:40 it returns and makes a large echo as it travels back into the tunnel. In between you can hear noises of the Japanese countryside, including the ubiquitous Japanese Bush Warbler (Uguisu). These birds are found all around the edge of the Kofu valley in forest and bamboo groves. Recorded using a Zoom H5. High passed at 100Hz to reduce wind noise.
