Recordist's notes
This is one of three recordings of small streams cascading perpendicular to the path in the forest. These streams collect water from rain and snow-melt on the mountain and carry the water down to the river. Sometimes these veins of water enter the Earth or are soaked up by beds of moss. Here and there, you can see a little waterfalls falling from the moss or tree roots. And every once in a while, a large wooden trough is placed conveniently to collect the water for hikers to water themselves down and drink a cool sip. (Recorded with a Zoom H5.)
