Recordist's notes

At Zeche Zollverein in Hall 8. The sound of a temporary sound installation by sound artist Christine Kubisch plus steps and voices of visitors during the opening. The title of the work is" Unter Grund". The sound room is composed out of recordings of the 1000 m underground constantly working water pump system underneath the mine areal. The work has been presented during the festival"Now" soundmap nrw - topographic field recordings, social ambiences and art places
