Recordist's notes
I discovered a couple nights ago that a frog chorus starts up around midnight each night, somewhere in the swampy overgrowth across the street — and mysteriously pauses now and then. It’s impossible to tell exactly where it originates, so the cover photo was taken in the general vicinity, in the daylight. I would've maybe never discovered this were it not for COVID-19, which closed down my health club, which means I've been occasionally staying up late instead of swimming first thing in the morning. Who knows how long this has been going on? Major Elements: * Intermittent frog chorus * Distant cars and motorcycles * Airplanes * Distant train * One close car driving past, stopping, and turning around * Rare midnight birds See also: https://anode1.bandcamp.com/album/auss24-frogs
