Recordist's notes

Tegel Airport, Berlin - wake vortex after airplane flyover. Recorded at the Western end of Tegel Airport - where the airplanes fly over landing. The interesting part starts at 00'50: after the flyover you can hear the sound of the wake vortex - or wing tip vortex - which is a trail of turbulent air following the airplane. The wake vortex creates a very subtle swish and rustle that pervades the whole area. It is not always so articulate and continuous as it was this time. [I used the Hi-MD-recorder Sony MZ-NH900 with external microphone Beyerdynamic MCE 82 with windshield and fur]
