Recordist's notes
This recording was taken in Vermane Garden, the oldest public garden in Riga, Latvia, using the internal mic. of a Zoom H1N. The primary sound featured in the recording is the birdsong. In the background, a tram can be heard, while the garden's fountain remains switched off. Despite the absence of snow, the trees are still bare, waiting to sprout leaves. Under a mainly overcast sky, only a handful of sporadic passers-by can be observed strolling through the garden.
