Recordist's notes
A common Northwest rainshower is caught out an open window. Water falling through the trees mixes with more splattering on the deck, and sudden rushes as water in the gutters overcomes the pine needles and washes down the downspouts. Wind gusts occasionally pick up the intensity. Meanwhile, daily commerce continues unabated in the background. Major elements: * Rain falling on the trees, deck and ground * Distant traffic * Jet airplane * Train (2 miles west) * Edmonds-Kingston ferry horn (2 miles west) * Furnace vent See also: https://anode1.bandcamp.com/album/auss4-idle-rain
