Recordist's notes
Hydrophone recording in Sarasota Bay. A very helpful professor of marine biology/acoustic ecology at New College of Florida identified the pervasive snaps as coming from snapping shrimp and the repeated sounds at 1 sec, 41 secs, 56 secs, 1:11 and 1:17 as being produced by male toadfish to attract females for spawning and to defend their territory.
