Recordist's notes

I'm not sure of the exact time and date of this recording; it was in October some time in 2002. It was one of those really sunny but really cold days. I had a minidisc player and a microphone borrowed from the radio department at University. I was mapping the sounds of the site where I had lived on a road protest in 1997, starting with this sound - the sound of the traffic that thundered over our heads when we slept beside the road in our thin tree houses and in our tents.
