Recordist's notes

Extract 5 Scrambling to reach the River Panke ripples. The 5 Pankow Soundwalks project took place during spring 2019 and April 27 2020 was the first anniversary. In celebration I walked the same route starting at Pankow S&U Bahnhof at the same time. The coronavirus lockdown has made significant changes to the soundscape. Almost no planes are flying (this route is directly under the flight path into Tegel Airport), the traffic is reduced, although not by so much, and the children's playgrounds are closed. All important sounds in this area. The walk was recorded and there are six extracts on the aporee soundmap.
