Recordist's notes
On a beautiful sunny morning, the Hurtières forest big calm was immediately seductive. This explains why a recorder was left alone, hanged on a beech branch. This quiet recording includes dominant songs of the eurasian blackcap, the short-toed treecreeper and the yellowhammer (tsi-tsi-tsi-tsi-tsi-tih-tuh). More discreet are the common chiffchaff, the common chaffinch, the dunnock, the blackbird. Unfortunately, there's also planes, but this place was like that.
