Recordist's notes

In 2025, the Buenos Aires station still has the old manual entrance and exit doors, which are being replaced with electric ones. The exit doors make a loud noise when closed. A magnet keeps them closed so that no one can open them from the outside. This noise is a very typical soundscape from the metro station. The replacement will significantly alter the station's soundscape, but we can still enjoy the old doors at some points. Recorded with homemade contact mics.
