Recordist's notes

A vibrant night soundscape with chorus insects, tree frogs, and subtle human activity. The soundscape is dense with multiple insect species and tree frogs vocalising with varying intensities. Recording by Abigail Baffoe who is WISEA (Women in Soundscape Ecology Africa) leader. This is part of her recordings in a Forest Reserve in Ghana. Hitherto, she has been working in degraded suburban wetlands for an installation project on wetlands loss and its effect on biodiversity and man. She was mentored by Emmanuel K. Baffoe through the CSEM - Center for Soundscape Ecology and Multimedia education Ghana program. More selected members for the training program are coming on board and wiill be profiled.
