Recordist's notes
i was shown to this location by my hosts at cape trib farmstay, sam, jordan and andrew, on my last night in cape tribulation as this area was privately owned by them. while i wanted to record further away from cape trib they strongly suggested this area and since i could feel they didn't feel like driving further away i thought i would give the place a go. the recording ended up being a bit of a dissapointment for me as you could still hear the road very clearly as well as the drones of the generators from the town. fortunately when jordan and i went to pick up the microphones a few hours later he felt like driving to the marrdja mangroves about 20 minutes drive away where i originally wanted to record and i ended up getting a fantastic recording there at one in the morning! i still do like this recording though. recorded with an AT BP4025 into an Olympus LS-100. soundcloud.com/jeremyhegge jeremyh.bandcamp.com/
