Recordist's notes

recorded by: Anna Friz http://s171907168.onlinehome.us/andrasound/lachine/e/index.php Lachine Canal: Journées Sonores Constructed from ambience recorded on the Charlevoix bridge over the canal east of the Atwater market. Car tires against the textured metal surface of the bridge produce this distinctive thrum, which are looped to enhance the existing rhythms of traffic. It was a cold dry day, with ice underfoot on the empty cycle path up to the bridge. for more info, please visite the Montreal Sound Map @ http://cessa.music.concordia.ca/soundmap/en/
