Recordist's notes

Mine 7 is the only active mine in Longyearbyen and provides the town with coal. The recordings are from in the mine. The noise level inside is immense and I recorded by using contact mics on the different infrastructure connected to the machinery. The field recording is a part of The Cold Coast Archive. http://www.coldcoastarchive.org
