Recordist's notes
At 19h30 people use to walk, stand or seat in the three main spots of the Amazonas theater plaza: the steps of the fountain (student, low money), Armando Bar intellectuals & other (large liver), Tacaca da Giselle (large families, Tacaca is a kind of soup eatable/drinkable in a cuia calabash, and made of cassava starch, cassava juice, jambu and shrimps, especially consumed at nightfall). In the ambiance sound track recorded near Tacaca da Giselle we hear small electrics motorbikes, playing children, distant cars, various distant musics, the church bells at 19h30, and people walking, speaking, shouting.
About the place
