Recordist's notes

"Lecciona" is an area within the protected natural reserve of the Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Park. It is a stretch of sandy coastline between Viareggio and Torre del Lago that has remained in its natural state, featuring characteristic sand dunes covered with vegetation. Trails wind through ponds and wetlands where various marsh plants thrive, and many bird species find refuge, especially during migration periods. In the recording, you can hear a coot and other birds, the wind rustling through the vegetation, and the occasional croak of a frog.
