Recordist's notes

Who would like to go to a f***ing place like a heliport? It's a quarter to noon on Sunday 26th Feb. 2017. The breathtaking landscape of the Southern Alps and a parking lot. A well regulated walk to the Fox Glacier with lots of signs telling you not to dos. At 00:57 a "caterpillar wheel barrow" adds more noise - totally okay on a Sunday. Helicopters at all times! You might not hear it, but at 11 to 16kHz there is song of a small critter.
