Recordist's notes

The area here at the ''Stachel'' forest reserve can only be reached on foot. The hike leads across extensive meadows to the edge area between open country and the forest area where this recording was made. This field recording was recorded with a tree ear microphone setup. This extraordinary living space has always fascinated me. Now I am trying to make these unique moments audible for now and for the future of this very special place here in this protected area.
