Recordist's notes

sound and vibrations of a long barrier fence around the planned pond area. there's a strange signal audible in the recording. i've heard it before, and first i thought it's a microphone malfunction. but it seems it's induced by activity from the nearby former radar station (or listening post?) which is odd. is it still active? (PCM D50, DIY contact mics)
