Recordist's notes
Found this little blow hole in the sea cave systems near the shipwreck of Edro III. There were two fissures to "post" microphones through. This selection is a short segment extracted from a 75 minute recording. I suspended 2 Brady (Primo capsule) mics to within 50 cm of the water surface recording to Olympus LS11. I was entranced by the immediate and immersive experience. The resonance and reverberation within the cave, the subtle and gentle rhythms and splashings with the pedal note of the waves breaking just along the coast. A beautiful location, we sunbathed (17C!) and enjoyed a shimmering, calm sea in that inexplicable winter sunlight.
